Crate engine could just be a short- or longblock... so it could've just been the block & rotating assembly. Longblock would've added heads & valvetrain I believe, intake, accessories, etc. would be reused. _________________ Darren

all you can see is the intake mainly, and that wouldnt come with a short or longblock. sounds like a good deal to me if it is what he says it is. and to think it could just need the distributor dropped in right and drive! _________________ its a 305 with a holley 390.

why do it have a quadrabog on it? '89 is throttle body fuel injection not carbonator. _________________

My thought is maybe they still had 4bbl as an option in those years, I don't know when they stopped with the carb on all models, I thought I remembered seeing something about it as still an option even after TBI started in '87 or whichever year it was. _________________ Darren

87 FUEL INJ NO IF ANS OR BUTS .. ........... I HAD A 4 DOOR DUALLY 454 TH 400 FUEL INJ 8-10 MILES PER GAL AND MY 85 350 4 SPD DUALLY CARBED 8-10 MPG ALSO THEY ALL LIKE THE GAS _________________
