vortec heads

i have a 350 chevy smallblock and it is all stock right i have plans to put vortec heads with a edelbrock rpm performer intake vortec style intake on and then a new cam i have heard that alot of ppl think the xe268 comp cam and i was looking for anyone to give me any info they csn on the heads (im just trying to learn as much as i can) and also what cam you think i should go with thanks for anything you can give me.

I'm happy with the XE268H, but if you can swing the $ go for the GM hot cam & it's supporting upgrades, it's worth another 25hp/ft. lbs., and will be just as drivable as the XE cam. Only downside compared to the Comp cam is it's a roller so it costs a bit more for everything.
